A pair of mating Leopard Slugs

→ by Danieru
In the world of TV nature documentaries David Attenborough is the ONLY name that'll make 99% of British people foam at the mouth, guaranteed. And he has a new series on the way, which I will miss.

Thankfully though I can always head on over and catch some clips from Life in the Undergrowth on the BBC website.

Watch in awe as a pair of Leopard Slugs entwine in their ritualistic mating routine or alternatively just browse stunning photos from the series here.
Natural beauty not to be missed...

99% of Brits? I doubt that (does that include the chavs?).

Anyway, a lot of non-Brits love to watch Sir David's documentaries. I myself recenty acquired some of them, including The Living Planet, Trials of Life, Attenborough in Paradise, and of course, Life on Earth. Ever since I was a kid, I've been fascinated both with his soft but reassuring voice of authority, as well as the raw beauty of nature captured on film. Who doesn't like to see a lion chase down and tackle a wildebeest?

I'll look forward to this new one.

I have to say, I'm not really a fan of calling people 'Chavs'...

David is loved by all sections of the TV watching community. He is an institution - a Don of Dons. May we all be worthy to watch his programs, to bathe in the infinite knowledge that he casts... and so on adfinitum
