Hmm. The original photo was of Alan Jones, a notorious shock jock from Sydney (who was standing in front of a "Country Party" banner at the time)[ref]

Reminds me of this exchange in the Australian parliament of the time:

Sir Turnball (MP): "I am a Country member!"
